Trump’s Texas Endorsement List: 34 Republicans to Vote For
Texas, USA – President Donald Trump has issues his endorsement list for Texas and put his name and political influence behind 34 Texas candidates, urging voters to support his selections as the November 3 general election approaches. The slate spans statewide offices and congressional districts across the Lone Star State, giving voters a direct look at the candidates receiving the president’s backing.
The list, shown in a post attributed to Trump’s official account, obviously names Ken Paxton for the U.S. Senate, Greg Abbott for governor, Dan Patrick for lieutenant governor, Mayes Middleton for attorney general and Don Huffines for comptroller. It also identifies candidates in 29 congressional districts, from East Texas to the Rio Grande Valley.
The message is straightforward: Trump wants Texans to vote for these candidates. The political significance lies in how far the list reaches into the state’s federal delegation and executive offices.
A slate stretching across Texas

The congressional selections include Nathaniel Moran in District 1, Steve Toth in District 2, Keith Self in District 3, Pat Fallon in District 4 and Lance Gooden in District 5. The list continues through districts across the state, naming candidates including Jake Ellzey, Jessica Steinmann, Alex Mealer, Chris Gober, August Pfluger, Craig Goldman and Ronny Jackson.
Other candidates named are Randy Weber, Monica De La Cruz, Pete Sessions, Mark Teixeira, Brandon Herrera, Beth Van Duyne, Roger Williams, Brandon Gill, Michael Cloud, Tano Tijerina, John Carter, Jace Yarbrough, Eric Flores, Carlos De La Cruz, Brian Babin and Jon Bonck.
The list does not include every Texas congressional district. Nor does the supplied image explain why particular districts are absent. The post should therefore be read as a list of named endorsements, not as a comprehensive roster of every Republican candidate running in Texas.
Trump’s endorsements are not new. The Texas Republican candidate directory maintained by the Tarrant County Republican Party identifies many of the same candidates and provides a separate resource for voters seeking information about the candidates on their ballots.
Trump’s list also illustrates the breadth of the offices at stake.
Early voting has already begun and runs through October 30. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
